Jonathan and Karen could not have been any better. Children and parents alike were thrilled with the performance. The program was engaging, educational, and truly interactive. The puppets were a treat to look at. He explained how many of the puppets were made with found objects. The following Storytime two sisters each brought a puppet they had made. Their grandmother said that one of the girls had seen an open pod on the ground and declared it to be a pig’s nose. Their puppets were imaginative and completely inspired by Jonathan.
Aesop’s Fables” was delightful, educational, fun and funny. Caravan’s show demonstrates Aesop’s age-old morals in a sweet, humorous and very kid-friendly way. Our students, aged 4-10, loved every minute of it.
On Behalf of the Administrators, Faculty, Parents and Students of P.S. 140, I wish to thank you for bringing Caravan Puppets to our school. This event provided an invaluable opportunity for students to see and experience the excitement on satisfaction of a live puppet show. There have been many positive comments and enthusiastic discussions on this puppet show since your presentation. It enhances our classroom curriculum by integrating the Arts into Literacy and other subjects.

We brought Caravan to PS 140 and PS 60 in the Bronx to dramatize Aesop. Teachers and their classes were engaged and delighted. Mr. Keezing is a master puppeteer who, along with an instructive show, also teaches children how to be a good audience.
Jonathan has exceptional creative talent along with the ability to share it with children of all ages. With the younger children, he is animated and nurturing. The older children respond to his creativity and his ability to reach out to them for their input. We hope that Jonathan will work with us again.

Jonathan is an wonderful creative talent. His shows are funny and usually contain a message sensitive to our diverse community. The message is always situated in a funny and very entertaining story. His puppets are often made out of unusual materials – they are visually arresting and capture the children s imagination. They also inspire us to make puppets and to have puppet shows.
